Kerry Hamilton
Kerry Hamilton's 30 year career in management is highlighted by success in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. In her Corporate Retail experience, employed as SVP, Marketing for BJ's Wholesale Club and VP, Marketing for Marshalls at the TJX Companies over the last ten years, Kerry contributed to hiring, mentoring and growing strategic and capable teams for numerous marketing challenges. In addition, Kerry has successfully handled challenges in developing retail brands, in customer acquisition, in traffic generation, in member loyalty, and a wide variety of marketing channels including publishing, television and radio, newspaper, magazine, direct marketing, email marketing, and direct sales acquisitions.
Prior to this, Kerry managed teams in various entrepreneurial and Advertising Agency experiences working in a variety of business sectors including financial, technology, consumer packaged goods, media and retail for a variety of clients including CVS Pharmacies, Fleet Bank, The Boston Globe, Ocean Spray, MCI Telecommunications and Gillette among others.
Kerry was elected to serve on the BJ's Wholesale Club Board of Directors as a Corporate Director, (1994-2002), serving on both the Audit and Compensation Committees. She stepped down from that position in 2002.
Kerry currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychologists, the Board of Directors of St. Coletta's and Cardinal Cushing Schools, and the Board of Rolling Ridge Retreat Centers.
Throughout her career, Kerry has been interested not only in doing strategically sound, creative and results-oriented work, but also in how teams and people have engaged to do the work. Kerry is interested in the dynamics that lead to individual empowerment, personal and professional growth, creativity, wisdom and humor.
